    Hi Eric,

    Just downloaded and installed Remask 2. Congratulations! It has a much more intuitive user interface and is loads easier to use.

    Best regards

    Every time I run Remask 2 it blows up. I open a jpg image, unlock the background layer (it’s now Layer 0), duplicate it, and open the remask2 filter, it promptly aborts. Any ideas?

    Have the same problem as you John! The plugin sure looks exciting but I have yet to be successful at any Remask procedure. Sure hope they find a solution soon.

    @Steve and José:
    Thanks a million for your support!

    @John and Roy:
    Yikes! That’s not good – the last build should be quite stable. Please try re-downloading the software here:

    If after re-installation it still doesn’t work, please email us at support[at]topazlabs.com and include some of your system information. Sorry about the inconvenience!

    I don’t suppose you guys would ever release a standalone version or one that can be used w/ Gimp? :-)

    Eric: Downloaded the current version from your web site yesterday, uninstalled the existing ReMask 2, and installed the new one. Same results as before. John

    I uninstalled remask 1 but 2 wants my key but will not accept it. Now I can’t even start photoshop. Guess I have to uninstall remask entirely.
