    Default Local Adjustment Brush

I can't see that anyone has suggested this!!
And of course I have no idea if it would be at all practical........
But.....If it were possible to apply any of the Topaz range selectively to just a part of the image,
rather than globally as at present, rather like the local adjustment brush in Lightroom.
I know it can be done via layer masking in Photoshop, but how nice if it could be done via
    the Topaz GUI.
Especially for users of Lightroom who have no access to layers or masking.

(How is the development of Fusion for Windows progressing, by the way, I have not heard anything for a while now!!)

I hope not to step on a landmine for suggesting this, but instead of a local adjustment brush per say, how about something similar to the way NIK filters work, with a u-point. Simply place a indicator where you want to effect to be and all pixels of a similar nature are affected. If one does not place a u-point then the whole image is processed. The U-points in the Nik filters prevent one from having to make masks or selections and work much better than the masking effect IMHO.

This suggestion would add cost with minimal benefit as the function already exists on PS and PSE. Granted, it would be easier this way but... is it worth a higher price for the product?

I can not imagine anyone that sprung for the price of LR didn't bother with at least PSE for layers. Heck, I paid only US$60 for PSE!

If I want that effect is applied only on a portion of an image, I duplicate and then I use the eraser with a variation of the opacity.
I think it's fast and it allows me all the options I want.
And I think I did not want to do Topaz in my place!

I would like the option of doing local adjustments without doing layers, too. It is a bit of a pain to go back and forth between Topaz and PS. I would pay more for this option. Maybe a separate program of some sort that would incorporate that toolset giving you options of the other Topaz programs and allowing you to use the various Topaz programs locally in one application. That would be really cool. My credit card is ready.....
