Hi Bob....Awesome pic of the train. I am brand new to Topaz....Kind of ashamed to admit I'm just discovering digital manipulation....Have been a big holder with Black and White film.....Medium Format.....But after discovering some of these Topaz apps, wow!! I'm still using a version of Photoshop elements 2!! But it is working!! Anyway, what did you use on this image if I may ask? Thanks.
Thank you and the same to you and yours ......
Happy New Year my Friend
I'm glad you did ......hope to see you posting again.
Long time no see so I drop by to say hello
Bob, nothing more than what I mentioned in previous messages .......I just looked at your latest post and think you did a great job on the sky and water. Looks to me like you have it down ........
Bob; Besides time consuming selections and layer masks, do you have any fast way to add a great dramatic sky to an otherwise dull sky image?. Incredible skys blended perfectly with the rest of the picture. . Not only is the sky beautiful in your imagesl, the color of the sky is part of the rest of the image... below the horizon... very effective. Kind of looks like a Kincade painting. I have tried all of the blend modes, "Blend If", masking 2 pictures together, reflections, etc with some success, but still am not hitting the target. Your mortuary picture and your Marina Del Rea Pic both have this effect... Just thought one of you might want to share your genus...
Bob, I'll send you a PM as I don't know if you'll come back here for my answer.
Bob, I have been amazed at your work on your Flikr site as well as the Topaz site. You often times take an otherwise ordinary photo and make it a work of art. The englewood Cemetary is such a picture (their are many others). I have a question... Your tonal qualities (warm) are exceptional. Withoug giving our your secrets, are you painting and dodging and burning in these tones... or are they a result of a filter. If you ever start a website on your techniques, I am first in line. You should be doing web based PS digital painting classes. Any insites you could give me on how you achieve the tonal qualities in your pictures would certainly be appriciated. Your the master...
I want to buy Topaz Denoise 4. IUntil 5/31/2010 there is an offer of 49,99 dollar in stead of 79,989 dollar. When I truy to purchase it's always 79,99 dollar. Can you help me out? Thanks, Danny
