That's some tool Socrates...nicely done.
No Remask, only the polygonal lasso in PSE.
See edit in post #6.

The polygon lasso tool or the pen tool is how I did my mask prior to purchasing Remask2. Still use them sometimes.
Great selection!

Actually, I didn't finish my post as my pain killer (I had surgery yesterday) was beginning to kick in. My intended point is that Remask works real well for me with skin, clothing and other "soft" objects. It doesn't do well with "flyaway" hair (i.e. my grand-daughter) but the Topaz team is working on that. With "hard" objects (cars), I've found that standard PSE tools like the polygonal lasso work much better, primarily because of feathering. I was able to use a 2-pixel feather for the sheet metal and a 20-pixel feather for the shadow.

It looks great ....... I'm still using the pen tool.
I'm a little late with my comment on your GT40. Excellent work on the masking and nice choice of background.
I agree with your assesment of Topaz Remask vs. PS Polygon Lasso. For me, Remask is a bit quicker initially, but I always have to go in and do lots of refining on smooth objects, even when there was good contrast in the original. I also miss having control over the feather properties when using Remask. Maybe they will consider some of this with their next upgrade.

Thanks for the compliment.
