Its a bit dark inside but during a week day you can kill half a day there . Head over to the Prado for a late lunch , makes for a nice ending . Link

Those PBY catalinas were built only a few miles away during WW twice . My buddies mother in law was Rosie the riveter .
During a movie Granny said " I use to build those , the rivets near the wing tips were a son of a ***** to install ".
Now Granny was cool to the boys , " airplane building granny " Who knew ,, Heroes come in all shapes & ages .

Way in the back you can see two at the door . One guy walked out of the frame toward the tri-motor .
It was a tuesday around 11am a bit wet . All those are full sized aircraft .
