    I went for a darker, more weathered look, for the face - used Detail and Adjust (modified Spicify).

    Painted in Studio Artist then various Topaz filters applied with LOTS of masks.

    Bob,
    I have to say that I like your approach the most! I don't know how easy it is to touch up his forehead a bit without making it unnatural, but if I would be able to do that, I would give it a try.
