    Default Remask Challenge

    Hi All,
I submit dog photos as stock photography and need a pure white background. Remask has made this task very simple for me and has cut my workflow time in half! Yeah! My problem comes in when I have long hair dogs or props that I am Photoshopping onto dogs that are fuzzy like this red boa:

Is it best to try to painstakingly outline the feathers with a small brush like on the left side of the photo below (I would do it more detailed if this were not just a test) or more loose with a large brush like on the right? I'm not getting great results either way.

Anyone want to play with this image and teach me the best way to use remask for this type of image?

I plan to put this boa on a Basset Hound with devil horns. I'll post the final photo after I figure this out.

The Topaz engineers are working on a new version of Remask for just this application. Actually, the original issue was human "flyaway" hair. I do not know the expected release date.

In the meantime, you might want to search the forum. Pictus documented a procedure that works. He used a photo of my grand-daughter to create the procedure. It does require the full PS plus some talent, neither of which I have.

Edit: I just tried to locate Pictus' procedure but I couldn't find it. You might with to send him a PM.
