Default Remask 2 and wedding veils.

    Hi guys,

On the Topaz bundle page, there is a picture of a bride with her veil streaming out to the left. How would you mask this to keep the veil but lose the picture behind it... So as to have a translucent mask that would "show" another background through it?

    Dave.

That is an ability that we hope/expect to see in a future release/update of remask -- specifically, the tools to mask translucent materials ---- smoke, veils, etc. Not sure how to even attempt that with standard PS tools and get satisfactory results. If you must have this ability 'now' then I think you'll need to look at one of the other (much more expensive) masking solutions on the market. Otherwise I'd say keep your fingers crossed and hope that it wont be too long before remask is updated.

    Thanks Sam,

This was a how would you do it question as i can see wanting to do this at some point. But i don't have any particular need for it in the near future. I'll wait for this to come up in the future (hopefully not to far out).

    Thanks

    Dave.

Look at the instructions posted by Pictus.

It does require the full PS and a lot of talent. Unfortunately, I have neither.

    Edit...
    Here it is:

No sweat. Funny the games your eyes/brain can play. I read your post and my mind automatically entered remask where you had typed 'mask.'
