Easy ways to post images
There's several very easy ways to post images on this forum.
1. Attach the photos to your post.
Simply click the Manage Attachments button in Additional Options right below your message box, click Add Files in the top right corner, and navigate to your images. Drag the images into the Attachments area on the bottom of the popup. Attach as many files as you like from your computer. When you submit, they will show up as thumbnails in the bottom of the post, and whenever anyone clicks on them they will open up full size.
One small caveat is that you may lose a bit of image quality this way if your image is over 500kb. For best results, resize your image so that the file size is under 500kb before you upload it.
2. Embed them into your post from a website.
If you're linking to them from your own gallery, perhaps from Flickr, smugmug, or the like, click the icon above your message box that looks like a tree:
. Then enter the image URL (usually ends with .jpg or .png) and it will embed the image directly into your post.
Alternatively, you can use BBCode in your post to embed images.
Embedding images does not degrade image quality at all, but you have to have them hosted on an external site. You can also upload the images to your own Topaz Album and link to it from there.
That's it! The photos will now be posted up for all to enjoy.
If you do not want us to choose select images from your posts to be on our highly-visible Gallery page, please let us know in your post.
Thank you!
