AMD issues actually apply only to Windows. Lets try something different for your Mac. Please do the following:
please remove the Topaz Detail program. You can do this by going to HD -> Applications -> Photoshop -> Plug-ins and drag the Detail 2 file to the trash. Please also remove any previous Detail 2 download files that you may still have on your computer.
After that, please clear your cache and then download the program again from here.
If the crashes still occur after doing this then please email me at: support [at] topazlabs.com and I will give you some additional directions.
