Thumbs up (SOLVED) Unable to Register DeJPeg and Denoise on Netbook

    Hi Guys,

I am running Photoshop Elements 8 on my netbook (1024x600) and have found that I am unable to enter license details for both DeJpeg and Denoise because they do not resize properly causing the menu button to be hidden. All other product Adjust, Clean, Detail, Remask & Simplify resize correctly when the maximise button is clicked.

    Best regards

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Try increasing your monitor resolution. You can do this in Vista by right clicking your Desktop, hitting Personalize, and going to Display Options.

If that doesn't work, make sure your Font DPI is set to the default setting (96 dpi). Right click any empty space on your desktop, hit Personalize, and click the Font DPI option on the left side of the window.

If you are using Windows XP the settings location will be a little different.

Please see the links below on direction on how to make the changes on XP

    Hi Ashley,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Unfortunately, I am running on a netbook which has a maximum resolution of 1024x600 @ 96DPI (which I am using) and am not able to make the changes you suggested. :-( I was raising the issue just to let you know, maybe your dev guys could have a look for the next release because netbooks are becoming more and more popular.

I guess DeJpeg and Denoise will eventually time out, .. unless you have any other suggestions?

    Best regards

    Steve
