Thumbs up (SOLVED) Remask 2 CS5 Compatibility

Just upgraded to PS CS5 Extended - I moved Topaz Adjust across without any issues - But Remask 2 will not appear under the filters menu - even after moving and or reinstalling.

    Any ideas ?

Thumbs up (SOLVED) Installing several Topaz plug ins from CS3 to CS5 32 and 64 bit

The FAQ instruction for transferring list CS4 but not CS3, which is the version I have.
I have Adjust 4, Detail 2, and ReMask 2, and all are installed in C:/program files(x86)/Topaz Labs (not in Adobe PSCS3 plug-ins).

    1. Are they all 64bit compatible? Can I load them in both CS5 and CS5 64bit?
    2. Where exactly do I put the copies?

The FAQ instruction for transferring says to copy them to C:/program files/adobe/pscs5/plug-in, which is the 64bit version. PSCS5 is in the program files(x86) folder.

I would like to install them in both the 32 and 64 bit version if possible.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Thank you for the quick response.

Before registering and posting, I read through all the FAQs, including that one. I posted because it didn't answer my question (at least so I could satisfactorily understand it), so I still need help with my questions.

    Thanks,
    Ron

    Hello Ron,

All our Windows version of PS plug-ins are CS5 64-bit mode compatible. Since you only had CS3 (which is a 32-bit only application), you will need to install the 64-bit versions of our plug-ins if you want them to work in CS4/CS5 64-bit mode. If you still have the installers, you can simply run the 64-bit setup file (.msi file), and the 64-bit versions will be installed to the same Topaz Labs installation folder in Program Files (x86) location (and the 64-bit version will be in a folder called Plugins_x64).

If you don't have the 64-bit installers anymore, you can download from our webpage. And in this case, I would recommend you first un-install the 32-bit versions, and then install both the newly downloaded 32-bit versions and 64-bit versions (You must install 32-bit version first, before installing the 64-bit versions).

Hope this help to answer your question.

    Have a nice weekend,
    Kevin

Thank you, Kevin, for your detailed help and explanation.

The 32- and 64-bit versions of the Topaz products are the same download, is that correct? I didn't see a separate download for each.

    Thanks, Ron
