I'm loving Topaz Adjust...
As a break from the documentary filming that is my fulltime job, I like to work on photos to make them a little different - give them a sense of the unusual and try to interpret the subject rather than give a straight-up rendition. Topaz Adjust is a major part of my workflow - I'll try out a number of approaches until I find the one I like - sometimes running the shot thru Topaz more than once.
This is a mixed bag of shots from my travels over the last few years - a man-made tunnel; the last, melting, stages of the Ice Hotel in Sweden; a robotic prototype complete with 5 senses; the 'Lonely Sea' - a shot from the Atlantic coast of South Africa; some old wrecked vehicles I found in a ghost town in Arizona; and a recycle yard in Wales.
These shots are from my website that I've just ported to Smugmug...

Hello to everyone in the Topaz forums - an excellent source of inspiration for this amazing piece of creative software!

David - Welcome. Nice work. I like how you vary the treatment used in each image, rather than having a "one size fits all" stlye. Looking forward to seeing more and maybe learning a bit more.

Beautiful Images!!! Love 'em all!
Thanks guys for the warm welcome...
Topaz has such a range of adjustments that you can go from true surreal to just a touch of styling - something I use for more traditional work.
I used it recently on some portraits of construction engineers, giving them a touch of the 'industrial' look (harder and gritty) without going overboard.
Looking forward to learning more on these forums.
Nice job![]()
