Ok here's one (surprise! a vette and a planet!) :cheesy:
Who knew there was intelligent life on Mars?

that is hugely impressive, what you've done with masking and stuff is great you ought to put up some video tutorials because you show some advance techniques beyond the just cut and keep. One thing I would add is the light on the car is clearly not the same light as on the planet. It just makes it stand out a little more oddly - but hey that's just nit picking and perhaps not at all important.
Great job otherwise.

Thanks very much Sj I completely agree on the lighting. I tried to match the sun source on the car with the lunar cell filter and didn't quite get it! Of course if I ever get the planet just right I should probably work on getting the basketball net reflections off the hood. I mean, what sort of intelligent life would play b-ball in a field of boulders LOL.

This is the second time I've posted these pics but they are the best I've got for now. This was a neighbors kid taken at a local holiday parade. This whole operation only took a short time, and I'm no expert. After printing this out, I gave them to the parents as a gift.

If at first you don't succeed, give up skydiving.
I hope this qualifies as sufficiently creative.
I wanted to see the thistlehead against a better background. I extracted it with ReMask2 which did an excellent job, Magic brush and Undo are really useful! I feathered the extraction to soften the edges a bit then ran it through Simplify and displayed it against a suitable shot of the sky
