    Default Lovely Landscapes [Ended]

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in our previous contests. Here's anotherone for you... This contest's topic is:

Post your most stunning and breathtaking landscape photo!

There are landscape photos that cause you to lose your breath the instant you lay your eyes upon them. They completely transport you into the scene, and move you to the point where you're truly feeling the sandy beach, windy mountains, or... other such landscapy features . This kind of photo is what this contest is all about!

The winner's entry will mainly be selected based on overall photographic quality and how "wow" the image is. The one winner will receive their choice of Topaz products from this page (excluding the Bundle or Topaz Enhance) and have the possibility for further promotion if you choose (website, Topaz Monthly, etc). If you already have all our software, you receive a free credit for whatever software we release next.

This contest will end at the end of January 2010. Have fun and good luck!

By the way, I'm looking for suggestions about the contest format. Please see this thread here in the Suggestions forum: http://www.topazlabs.com/forum/featu...s-judging.html

Is there a reason why the choice of Topaz products links to "This page can not be found?"

    :haha:

That's OK. I can't enter anyway. We don't have lovely landscapes in New Jersey!

The image below was captured last year in Badlands National Park. This was taken just after a thunderstorm had passed.

Well... I had to try this out.

Here's a shot from my front yard this past summer as the moon creaped across the horizon. I set the tripod up on the lawn right in front of the house and kept the shutter open for 30 seconds and despite the moon/lights burning out a bit...

I opened the shot up in Photoshop tonight and used the "Simplify" setting with a bit of tweaking in the sliders (Topaz Adjust).

I still have lots to learn using Adjust, Detail and ReMask... and I usually don't use them for Landscapes... but hoping this worked out alright ?
