    Default Topaz Clean - Vietnam Memorial, DC

    The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC is subtle but incredibly powerful in effect. I was moved by the names of those lost and the simple grace of a single rose someone left against monument wall. I used Topaz Clean 2 to place the focus on those elements and to play down everyday distractions in the image. The changes in the Topaz image (shown on the left) are restrained, but they illustrate how the Topaz filter can be used as a fine art tool.

    Here's mine. This is the Skylab 2 Apollo Command Module spacecraft that is currently on display at the California Science Center in Exposition Park, Los Angeles.
