    Default Topaz Software Resources

Inspired by larsjames's multi-filter painterly style tutorial, I thought I'd compile a list of all the tutorials, useful advice, and other good stuff in one forum sticky as a reference on the top of this forum. I'll update these as I see more, or suggest them by posting the link in this thread. So here we go

    Community Tutorials

    Official Topaz Tutorials
I'll edit this list with more as I find them. Also, feel free to suggest an inclusion to this list by posting below!

Thanks all, and enjoy the tutorials.

This is not a Topaz adjustment, but you can try to use this Windows trick. Depending on your display adaptor. Bring up your display properties, go to the settings tab and click advanced. Under Screen refresh rate, uncheck the "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" & click ok.

You should now be able to make you resolution higher than your monitor can display, which if your lucky you can force windows to stretch out the sides and bottom. You can use your mouse to scroll along the edges to move the display around and thus be able to access the additional Topaz tabs.

    Hope this kinda helps

We have a very useful Topaz Remask tutorial on the Flickr group
I learnt it from Mark Abercrombie who describes it like this:..............

"If you create an empty layer mask before running Remask, Remask will create the mask instead of creating a cutout on the actual image."

Details can be found in this Flickr Topaz group thread

Try this if you haven't already found resolve. Open Adjust, click ALT+Spacebar then type "R" (without the quotes). This should place the window in a Restore state and maybe allow you to manually resize the window and access the controls. Good luck!
    Click . . . Beep...boop...beep . . . kaChing!

Hi! You guys used to have a tutorial on your site for a painterly/cartoonish look on a girls face. Is that still on the site somewhere? Thanks!

We have had a few threads on creating painting or cartoon effects in the Flickr Topaz Group
    Have a look at these...
Flickr: Discussing Monterey Cannery Row---effect in Topaz Software
Flickr: Discussing How I did this in Topaz Software
Flickr: Discussing How I create a "painting" effect in Topaz Software

We also have a list of our tutorials on this page

    Thanks Harry,
The sample with the berries is similar to the effect I was looking for.

I did find the old link at Topaz Labs and the page is not formatted anymore but the recipe for the effect was still there. Where is the best place to post the recipe and samples for others to see and use?
